Out for coffees! (Day 61)

More of the same...

Quite exciting this morning! We decided to cast caution to the wind - and indeed, lockdown rules - and GO OUT for a coffee and pastry!

But we just went out to our front garden.

JR ran across to the French bakery for some decent bread, and also got some pastries. Yay! Hazel, our neighbour, happened to be there just as we started, and kindly took a photo. Then both Hazel and JR went off for their respective runs.

I settled down, with snacks, to continue reading my book about the gut. In fact, I read a whole chapter - all new fascinating information - but I’d actually read it yesterday. Wouldn’t want to be having an exam on this...

Archie had a wonderful walk with Elizabeth, as usual. What a fuss he makes when she comes - the neighbours must think he’s being tortured, all the crying. In fact the crying went on for quite a while, as they met Elizabeth’s sister across the road. They met a wee young schnauzer, Pip, and Archie was quite friendly with her. She took quite a liking to him. (Extras)

OK then. Nobody got it:

John, where James had had ‘had’, had had ‘had had’. ‘Had had’ had had the teacher’s approval.
