My Girl

Today has been an emotional rollercoaster for Luce. None of us really know what happened but she’s been sensitive, prickly and very tearful which leads to her being cross and tantrumy and saying things she doesn’t mean. Today we got ’i’m breaking up with my family’ as sobs racked her little body, blotchy brow furrowed aggressively at me. I just sat with her and waited it out, sure enough she calmed and got distracted but it took a while!
By tonight she was happier, racing her big brother on their bikes calling themselves ’The Blasting Apricots’, no idea why!
