Looking back...
Cold, grey and windy first thing, not the sort of weather to entice people out in to the countryside for a walk, and Wooler was very much quieter today.
A late-afternoon walk for us, the Humbleton round again, but we broke with (our) tradition and went in the opposite direction to usual. It was pleasantly mild by then, but the wind was ferocious! Far too windy, we thought, to see any squirrels on the Common. Wrong! We watched two reds chasing each other up and down, and round and round the trees at speed. Then up and over to the track down through Humbleton - the Blip is looking back, with the Cheviot in the distance to the left.
Back home for a meal, and a couple of glasses of red in front of the TV - well, it is the weekend!
Lockdown, day 55, Sunday
