Moored at the dock

There's still a sign saying that the dock is closed, but this little boat was moored there. I liked the reds and oranges and the reflections. I had quite a long chat with one of the ferry workers. She said it's been so quiet for this long weekend that usually kicks off summer here. Even though the reopening is slowly happening, people seem to be staying home and taking a cautious approach to travelling. Good.
Extras:
Just after supper, Renata and Kalyn called. We talked for quite awhile and G said at the end of the conversation that we haven't seen any fawns yet this spring. We hung up and he went to do the dishes. He looked out the kitchen window, and there was the first baby! Very small but lively, prancing around with three does. I went outside quickly, didn't get close but got a couple of photos. Such a treat to see the little ones every year.
Rock Salt and the Merc, two businesses that I rarely get a chance to take photos of without any cars or people in the way.
