Yesterday, we got the results of our daughter's latest maths test and we were really proud of her mark. It was certainly way better than from last week's test, which the poor thing said she was "too scared to show Dad" :( That triggered a regime of intensive revision involving telling the time, adding, subtracting, multiplying, division and solving second order differential equations. Although the latter might have been some supplementary material in case she finished her test early... Anyway, really pleased that we managed to help.

Today, I think there was something like a half-hour gap when it wasn't bucketing down with rain. Fortunately this coincided with when I was able to stop this subject. Also fortunate that the wind was blowing the right way for catch her hair just right. Which probably means the deity in charge of weather is going to give me a really hard time tomorrow.
