First Columbine 2020

It's nice to finally have flowers (besides dandelions) blooming.  I want to plant some more perennials but the stores have been really crowded with people who have the same idea.  I drove through the parking lot of Home Depot and just kept going.  It was the same at two other places.  I thought that on a Tuesday morning it would be quiet!   In the meantime, I have my lovely Columbines for my Tiny Tuesday blip.  Take a look in large if you have time, it makes a big difference!  Many thanks to wrperry for hosting this month! 

Becky's birthday is Thursday and we're going to have a socially distanced picnic by the lake.  I went out to get supplies today because we're still not eating take out food.  I could definitely go for a deli sandwich but I'll be making them so I got all the fixings.  I am also going to bake a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, her favorite.  I even remembered to get a disposable tablecloth at the dollar store so our table will be germ free.  Of course there will be plenty of hand sanitizer and wipes just to be sure.  We are all excited to be having a little party!

I am grateful that we got our air conditioning set up a few weeks ago because this is the second day in a row in the 90s.  We have two window units that keep the upstairs nice and cool.  Tonight we'll sleep with the windows open. :-)
