New Construction

New condominiums going up off of South King Street. The construction has continued slowly but uninterrupted. This evening we walked along the W&OD Trail through Leesburg and along the town branch of Tuscarora Creek - just a trickle there at the moment. A sign at the creek describes stream restoration efforts.

Much planning is underway. W. is leaving on Thursday for two weeks in Tennessee to visit his parents, and there is a lot of thought going into this. Daughter I. and possibly also son D. will be going with him to see Nana and Poppy. Harry grows ever frailer, and it will be possible to see Harry and Ellie at a distance. W. and the kids will stay next door at the home of his sister, who will be away for half the time, and do the grocery shopping and other tasks. Job-work and schoolwork can continue, too. It will seem very strange with them gone after so much togetherness over the past two months. I'm of many minds about this.
