Bright and cheery.

Just what I need at the moment, something bright and cheerful. After all the snow, rain, and now the winds, I'm amazed that this anemone has flowered at all, but there it is in the corner of the garden, standing out against the dull weeds and bare branches.
I've had a rotten week so far, and I'm hoping things are going to improve now. I've had an abscess on the root of a tooth, I hurt my back, and sitting was very uncomfortable, I burnt my left hand quite badly with fat, when I was basting something, then my right hand, when I picked up something straight from the oven, without oven gloves. I think that's all areas of the body covered, and I hope they're all on the mend.
