Ideal time

Lockdown has meant many things to many different people. Loneliness seems a big talking point, as does monotony as well as the importance of routine.
I came out of hmp barlinnie 2 weeks ago after an 8 month sentence and can certainly relate to a lot of it. 
This blip ive taken up is perhaps a way for me to fill my idle time, but also as an outlet for the angst which comes with being let out the door of a place you do start to call home. 
The sea at Portobello reminds me of the great size of life and I pictured it often whilst daydreaming in my cell. 
So hear I am, free, clean and sober, down by the forth. Here's to now.
