Surplus snails

The pond has been overtaken by water snails, I know frogs, newts and tadpoles are in there but invisible under the ever proliferating hornwort.  I can't really figure out whether they are a good or bad thing but when one sweep of the pond surface yields this catch - I think it's safe to say there are too many.

We've had a bit of clear out placing the haul the side of the pond so anything that wriggles can get back in.  Seems that snails don't move once they're out, so I'm hoping the birds will enjoy them.

The other project for today was to paint the shed (which really needs replacing) door, see extra.
