Pink

......... some pretty little alpine flowers that we have growing in a shallow pot are a mass of blooms at the moment ........ and I thought I had killed them off when they didn't do much last year ....... just goes to show that you shouldn't prejudge things ;-))

Last year mum had a break in at her house so we put up security cameras on the front and back doors. Little did we know what a godsend they would be in helping to look after her ........ they have been absolutely invaluable in keeping an eye out that she doesn't do anything silly ( or dangerous to herself) during lockdown. A couple of days ago they did a software update and now they just won't work at all ........ my brother, who installed them ( his business is electronics ), is desperately trying to get them sorted. Apparently lots of other users have had a similar problem so I guess it's a manufacturer software error and it's really rather annoying and very worrying not knowing what she's up to because we can't rely on her word for what's going on.
I'm just hoping the manufacturers come up with a fix soon......... keeping everything crossed :-)
