Nature
I had quite a simple and fulfiling day today~
Morning started with Operation EAT (Eggs And Toast) being sucessfully 'carried out' with Shihui, spent time studying at the library, before having dinner at FongSeng's (sumptuous Beef Bamboo Rice! YUMS! Though $3 for a small serving of brocolli+prawns was wayyy too expensive).
"Thanks gal!" :)
We did chill out and chit chatted a little in-between our notes, but amazing I managed to get more things done and felt more focused than I ever did in my hall room.. kinda always tempted to surf the Internet when there's a computer within my reach :p
I was telling Pear yesterday that the computer (with Internet connection capabilities) is both my bane and boon. I really love fiddling with it, finding new websites and other sources with nifty ideas, games, photographs, etcetcetc. Give me any kind of technology and I'm happy to play around with it to see how it works and how much I can do with it! Guess I'm sorta 'geek-ish' in that way.. heh ;)
Exams are starting this coming Tue (24th April) till the Thurs after next (3rd May); I've got 5 papers in total, of which 2 are open-booked. I'd really need to be more disciplined and study smart, and make the best of the limited strength, time and brain juices that I have~!
That means less internet time! I'll try continue blipping a photo a day, but I won't be surfing around and commenting much during this period, hope you all will understand.
"Dear God,
I pray to You, Lord,
that You may grant my friends and I
Wisdom and Discipline,
Peace of the heart,
Strength of the soul,
Clarity of the mind.
Let us not be discouraged.
Instead, instill in us the Confidence and Hope
to help us through this period of time.
Ignite a steadfast Spirit and Faith in us, O God,
that we may believe You will always be there for us,
to help and hold us safe.
Thank You, Jesus.
With this, I ask through Christ, Our Lord
Amen.

Was suppose to meet up with Liying tomorrow evening for dinner, but eventually this evening over the phone, we decided to post-pone it cos we were both just too busy with our work.. I'd really want to treat my childhood friend to a good meal, 'cos she's just started on her accelerated Nursing Diploma! YEAH!
She's only about a week into her course, and while she's feeling a bit nervy and worried over her new 10 subjects and the projects/assignments/readings involved, she's equally excited too! Well done my lao2 you3 (Chinese: 'old friend')! :) We'll meet up to makan (Malay: 'eat') one day!
