Blue Walkway
Went to buy some dry stuffs from the nearby supermart, and rushed back to my hall as the clouds were turning grey..
"my clothes! my clothes!" I thought; "don't let it rain now!"
Yet I still stopped to snap this walkway before rushing off again~ ;)
Thank God I got back in time to take in my clothes that I hung out to dry this morning! Ahh~ such a slow lazy Friday...
...and still loads of stuff to study!
GO!GO!GO!

Apparently, I just got "tagged" by Shihui via her blog at 7.48p.m. today. The instructions are as such:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 23.
3. Find the fifth sentence and post it.
4. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
5. Tag five other people to do the same
Amongst my notes strewn all over the place, the nearest book I saw was Henri J. M. Nouwen's "Reaching Out"..
"You might have felt it when you were homesick in a boarding school or angry about non-sense rules which you could not change."
eh?
oh wait, I realised there's actually another book, "Women, Men, and Society" by Renzetti and Curran (coincidentally, it's a text book I borrowed from Shihui..lol) much nearer to me hidden underneathe a pile..
"And while writers have recently begun to document the history of women's activism on behalf of women as women in the developing and undeveloped world (see, for example, Jayawardena, 1986; Lobao, 1990), there is still much more known about contemporary feminism in these countries than about feminism historically".
That's one long sentence.. and the big chunk of paragraph ends with that, so you can imagine how long the first four sentences were..! Academics really ought to write shorter sentences ;)
So there! I will now "tag" Diana, Tingyi, Flick, Shyperson, Chocaddict, NVS, Red (yes I know, this is already more than 5! haha) and everyone else who comes across this post of mine, to do this little experiment if you have the time.
Cheers! :)
