Ceanothus (California lilac)

There is an enormous ceanothus bush along the street from us. It was looking amazing in the sunshine today.

It's been another day in lockdown that has included (so far) some walking (Holyrood Park), a bit of work, and some plant care, and (this evening) games with Mr hazelh, clapping the NHS and key workers (on the right night this time), and an hour or so of television.

I am excited at today's news that the garden centres in Scotland will soon open, even though I will not be able to visit them in person (because we do not own a car). I will be sending Paddy and Caitlin to Dobbies with a list.

Exercise today: walking (17,950 steps).
