Lessepsian
Quiet sunset.
In the Extra - carnage on the surface (marine biological rather than military this time) throughout the day. They never came close enough for a decent photo or an positive ID, but likely either albacore tuna or maybe narrow-barred spanish mackerel carving up small fish.
If the latter, then a prime example of Lessepsian Migration - a species native to the Indo-Pacific that has found its way along the Suez Canal and is doing very well in the Eastern Med.
This is mostly one way traffic due to the water running 'downhill' from the Red Sea to the Med, but apparently european bass have bucked the trend and are now cropping up in the Red Sea.
