Damn Peccaries!

I decided to blip the damage to the small red yucca I have been nursing for two years rather than the more extensive damage to my neighbor’s prickly pear (See extras. The rocks separate our yards and are at least 15 feet away from the cactus). I am really pissed off at the damn  javalinas (Haav-a-leen’-as) which wreaked the havoc. The only  desert creature I despise. Big, hairy, destructive and dangerous. 

They left a giant hole as they dug for the roots. Uggggggh!! I’m going to watch for them tonight with my gate closed but my hose handy.

I got my hair cut today. I was really hesitant (I had been trimming around my ears and what was falling into my eyes just fine) but five minutes in the sun and my head is soaking with sweat. I was really impressed by the safety steps that they were taking.

I also went into the Safeway to buy charcoal. I had an unpleasant encounter with a woman who objected to staying 6 feet away from me. An employee kindly removed her and her foul mouth. With people on edge you don’t argue because they could have a gun. Arizona is an open carry state and people have been shot. I know, sick.

I bought one of those black sleep masks the other day. The first night I still tossed and turned but last night I slept like a log. Maybe having gotten that sleep is what kept me calm with that old fogy.

I’m still pissed at the javalinas but I'm actually ina good mood. :-)

One of the BEST SONGS EVER!  I can’t help singing along at the top of my lungs.
