Lots of Broom
A very windy day with some rain later
A busy morning of writing, preparing to preach a week on Sunday and thinking about what happens to church as we move out of Lockdown.
In the afternoon, we went out for a 2 mile walk, the first for me in a few days. The wind was blowing a hoolie (good Scots Word) which was great going up the hills with it behind you - not so good when in your face. The Broom was looking magnificent, as you can see in the photo.
One disadvantage of the easing of the Lockdown is that gowfers will be shouting “gie’s oor Course back” Still, we have enjoyed walking over the immaculate fairways for the past 2 months, otherwise we would have had to walk on hard pavements much of the time.
Tonight we have another family Zoom Quiz, which should be fun.
