The First Rose

...of the season.

I had planned a white lilac blip for today but it was far too windy for outdoor photography. I did pick up some fallen flowers to bring indoors though...see extra! I also cut the last of the tulips and the first rose before they were blown off the face of the earth...the rose won the day.

It was himself’s birthday today so eldest popped up after work with his card and gift and stayed for a socially distanced dinner on the doorstep, he’d no sooner gone when middle child FaceTimed so I’ve only just got the iPad to myself...and apparently now the dog needs walked!!
