Staircase

I know it doesn't look like much swaddled in bubble-wrap, but this is the walnut staircase built by Jo which will connect our ground floor to the
library. We knew it was going to be heavy (150kg deadweight but flexible) and our glorious team of helpers appeared despite two previous last-minute cancellations to shoulder the load. In the end it took 4 blokes, L and I and Poppy to carry it through. Now we're just going to breathe for a while before attempting to install it. It really IS a beauty.
