L and I first came to this part of France for a week-long wedding. The reason we came back was this couple who hosted that wedding. They used to run a wonderful course centre called La Maison Verte here in the village (still going strong under new management, by the way) and they are a truly inspirational couple who change peoples' lives. They certainly changed ours.
They've now moved to Oxford but they came back this week to visit old friends, a week which climaxed (we'd like to think) with more shellfish than you could shake a stick at. What a lovely lunch. See 5000vines for another look at a typical mediterranean Sunday under blue wintry skies!
