Firey Oak Midget
Very windy here in Essex today. MrQ will have to wield his chainsaw before we can negotiate the drive as a small tree has toppled.
It wasn't ideal for macro togging but I persevered and found this gorgeous, minute, micro moth on an ox-eye daisy. I sketched its patterns as I always do as I find this helps when searching for an ID. I wasn't surprised to discover that it is a firey oak midget moth as the daisy is right next to an oak sapling.
I've added the muntjac buck we saw on the southerly bank of the lake to extras.
