Goldfinch Heaven

Lots of goldfinches all about the yard today, filling the air with their sweet song. For such tiny birds they sure can pack it away. They alternate sitting at various seed feeders and munch away the day from dawn to dusk. It’s unbelievable, but they reward me with looks like this. I can’t resist • Cooler today, more seasonable, and perfect for working around the yard, mowing, etc. I planted cilantro today. The broccoli and garlic beds both look happy. Believe it or not, there’s a frost advisory tonight, midnight to 8am • Rest well and I’ll “see” you all tomorrow!
