Sore Fingers

This is my daughter's hand after an inter school basketball tournament today! Apparently it happened when she was wrestling for the ball with some opponent and he bent her fingers right back to get the ball! Must have hurt but she seemed more annoyed that she didn't get a foul and her team lost the game because the so called neutral referees failed to count the scoring properly! On her return from the tournament, I'd to collect her, take her to the minor injuries unit in Dunfermline where they were fairly sure it wasn't broken but not 100% certain even after an X Ray, so it was taped up as this was the treatment whether there was a miniscule break or soft tissue damage. To cap it all, the nurse treating it taped the wrong fingers up at first cos he was talking to us and not concentrating. We'd to point out what he's done and we all had a good laugh. Just as well he wasn't putting it in plaster or taking out a kidney!!!!!
