This afternoon I had the misfortune to hear Boris's senior advisor wriggling in N° 10's rose garden.

"Never apologise - never explain" -  that's what "they" advise... DC stuttered & squirmed  & explained  & explained himself in between the rock & the hard place...

The apology we all awaited never came - surprise, surprise. NOT!
