A Chill Out Day

Not a good photo but it sums up our day.

We sat outside the boat this afternoon. Frank played his fiddle and I crocheted and we had yummy Morrison's own vegan cornettos :-b.

We did do some work. I weeded the towpath of the neighbours on the other side. We never see them as they rarely come to their boat. The only reason I did it was because someone was coming to spray nasty weed killer. I said I'd rather weed by hand as weed killer can cause cancer in dogs if they get it on their paws and then lick them. Also our garden is organic and I don't want poison on it.
Frank fixed a leaky skylight and I cleaned the windows.

What can I say about DC's press conference? Well, it seems to me they spent days writing a script that they think would cover every aspect of their trip to Durham and we would swallow it. How gullible do they think we are?

Another story has come to light - which may be a coincidence - but 2 days after DC was in Barnard Castle an agreement was signed by GlaxoSmithKline to develop and manufacture a Covid vaccine. Their factory is in Barnard Castle. That company has been previously fined millions for fraud and bribery. I would put nothing past this government.

As for BJ's update - what a waste of air time. He didn't answer any awkward questions, cut journalists off before they could come back at him and kept repeating that the most important thing we can all do is wash our hands!
I wish we could wash our hands of him and all his dodgy cronies!
