Lorna's father post-war

This photograph of Lorna's father Albert is undated, so we don't know exactly when it was taken. However, when we compare it with the shot from 1943 that we posted yesterday, we can see that he has aged somewhat. For this reason we believe that the picture was taken post-war, perhaps in the early 1950s. By this time he would have been in his late 60s.

Update:  It has been suggested that this photo might have been taken on his retirement. This would make sense. Also, we should have added to the detail above that his rank was Major, and he used this title in civilian life.
