Magpie behaving strangely

After a slow morning we ventured out for a walk just before lunchtime as it was a beautifully sunny day. I was spoilt for choice for a blip as there were many lovely sights - I really enjoyed seeing the saltire made by two airplane trails! We walked close to our local gastro pub and called in for coffee for Mr and Miss PHL and picked up a couple of ham salad rolls for lunch (delicious as they also included lettuce, tomato, coleslaw and cheese).

As we were eating I spotted the magpie settling down beside a decorative robin which sits in the corner of the vegetable bed. It really looked like they were having a cuddle!

Did some more crochet this afternoon before making a pasta bake for dinner. Watching the first half of Avengers Endgame before coming to bed - all that sunshine and walking has tired me out.
