Purple & Gold

I’m thankful to have captured this lone goldfinch just now, perched in the lilacs serenading me from above. Several times I’ve attempted to capture birds, chipmunks or squirrels today and I’ve not seen much of anything. It’s likely because of the heat, with even more coming over the next two days before returning to normal. None of us are used to it yet • We’re anxious for our veggie garden to be tilled. It’s supposed to happen this week, no set day. We don’t want to miss out on this heat, which is ideal if you’re a little seedling • That’s it from here. I’m off to make a drink and make dinner. Maybe tortellini and fresh broccoli?
