Had a thrilling trip to...the local post office. I bought stamps. What a time to be alive, as Eccles would say.

On the way back I noticed that the board that the eiders have used for basking/showing off purposes since time immoral had broken and there was only one male eider still there on the stump. They all seemed to have moved across to the other side of the basin. It wasn't until I downloaded the pic that I realised there was a small creche included!!
