Brassed off

Fitted back some of the results of my recent brass polishing. This is the handle on the front door which has been repainted.

Brassed off just about sums up the feeling over the ongoing shenanigans in Whitehall. In other circumstances it would be funny listening to Cabinet Ministers squirming and contorting language and principles to justify the actions of a senior advisor. But at the moment it is just cringeworthy and demeaning of great offices of State.

Fortunately, did not take the shine off a splendid day of weather. and planting up of tubs and baskets.
