A rainy day blip

It's not stopped raining all day today, and Louis and I are still house bound, although I'm pleased to say that both of us are feeling much better!

After all my medication and a week of resting, I took friends' advice and last night made a 'hot toddy'. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a drink made with honey, lemon juice, hot water and normally whisky. I don't like whisky so made mine with Rum, and it seems to have done the trick! I had a great night's sleep with no coughing and today I feel almost back to normal. I've just had another hot toddy for good measure, and I shall have another before I go to bed tonight - any excuse!

As for Louis he's much more lively, he's eaten his food and when my friend called round this morning for a coffee, he was leaping and jumping all over the place!

So that's great news, I can fly to England tomorrow as planned. Although I'm waiting for my doctor's recommendations as to whether i'm still likely to be contagious, as I don't want to put Scarlett at any risk. I'm still going, but it will just make a difference as to whether I see her or not.

Anyway, in light of this horrible rainy day, I decided to blip my birthday flowers which are still in bloom as I thought they were nice and bright. It looks nice viewed large.

Now I shall go and pack my suitcase - hope you have a good weekend!
