Flying High!
Thankfully I'm now feeling better, so I took my flight to England this morning, but I said I'd leave it until Monday before going to visit Scarlett. Premature babies are very susceptible to germs, and I would never forgive myself if she had a set back because of me. I'm meeting Rachel for lunch on Monday, and I will let her decide if she's happy for me to go and see her - if I do, I will keep my distance and won't hold her, but it will just be lovely to see her.
However, I took Mum and dropped her off at the hospital for the two hours' visiting this afternoon, and then I went into Warrington to do a bit of shopping while she was there. It was hard not to be able to go in, but it was the right thing to do, and hopefully I will get to see her.
I told Alan that I was going shopping and he reminded me that I had no baggage allowance as I'm travelling with Ryanair with hand luggage only. We all know how strict they are, but even Ryanair couldn't stop me from buying a new dress ;-)
So unfortunately I don't have a blip of Scarlett today, and I can't compete with Welshman in Budapest with his cockpit blip, but I really like this shot taken from the plane. We were starting our descent into Manchester and were over Buxton in the Peak District. As you can see it was surprisingly clear and I love the contours of the land.
Tomorrow I'm going to stay with my friend and she doesn't have wifi, so I may not be back online until I'm home, late on Monday evening. If so, I will backblip then and catch up with you when I can.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
