Sign In A Bus Stop

I noticed this sign in a bus stop when I was out for my daily walk.  It immediately took me back to the 1960's when this type of writing adorned many things.  I was 6 when the 1960's started and 16 when it ended and I found it such an influential decade - the Beatles & Stones, mini skirts,  JFK, Twiggy, Woodstock, the mini car, Martin Luther King, the Cuban Missile Crisis, men going to the moon.  The list goes on.  Is there a decade that stands out in your memory as having a big effect on you?
