Faversham

Today was Bank Holiday Monday, the sky was blue and the sun was hot. We had planned a walk along the north downs but I suggested to my OH that we head to the coast. There is something lovely about being by the sea when the sun shines. However being mindful of bank holiday traffic and chaos- even in lockdown, we headed for the creek instead.

We last walked this route in the winter but the views are stunning and of course we took the obligatory flask and bun! Although I did look longingly at the pub we walked past. In other times we would have stopped for a beer and a Ploughman’s. I could get quite used to this relaxed life style.
