Rhododendron Walk

I took another walk from home into the local country park today, ending up at the ponds. The seasons are moving on rapidly, and even in the week or so since my last visit the ponds were full of new life, with families of ducks and geese floating around and dragonflies and damselflies darting here and there.  It was also more colourful with the Rhododendron are in bloom.

Returning home after my 5+ mile round trip, I dug an ice cream tub out of the freezer - what better to complete my trip in this continuing hot weather!
