The ridiculous spectacle of Cabinet ministers being ordered to cut and paste supporting message for the Cumquat is just depressing.

They must know that it is obvious that they are being worked like sock puppets - and yet they dutifully play along.

Also the ‘mastermind’ behind it is either so clueless he thinks people can’t see through something that blatant, or he doesn’t care either way.

After a while this whole idea that his genius is in looking like an arrogant idiot when in reality it is some incredible long con which we just aren’t clever enough to understand, is starting to feel like an emperors new clothes situation. I think he really is a bit crap, but it doesn’t matter because enough idiots are prepared to stomach anything to get Brexit.
