American Redstart (male)

Late this afternoon we took our first trip this spring to the top of Mount Holyoke (Skinner State Park), which is closed during the winter. This bird, which is a species of warbler, was the only one we saw; I heard it singing first and then found it easily.   We had hoped to see the launch of the SpaceX rocket afterwards, but it was postponed till Saturday (5/30).
