At this time of nature’s cycle there are some wonderful creations on view, this foxglove is no exception.
I blipped this while on my cool down walk after a run on what was a most perfect and peaceful morning here in North Devon.
Jay, Heron, Chiff chaff, Wren, Whitethroat, Long tailed tits, Greater spotted woodpecker, Dunnock and several others heard or seen.
I was talking to an avid fisherman who was telling me that he caught several large brown trout last night.
I will have to make a trip to the river sometime soon!
Trivia:I was fortunate to have access to a famous Game fishing river and never caught a sea trout until the foxgloves were in flower (I only ever fly fish.)
