Lovely Irises in the water

A glorious hot day, reaching 22 degrees C

Busy day with more preparation for Sunday Service. Since we have a number people who don’t have internet access, we transcribe all the videos and have all the song lyrics and prayers printed. It makes a long document, but it is well worth doing it, since the people who don’t have Internet are generally folk on their own and don’t have much contact with the rest of the church.

In the afternoon I had a Listening appointment with a young woman who had a very tragic life. She was helped by unburdening her feelings and we will speak again next week.

After dinner, it was cooler and we enjoyed a lovely 2.4 mile walk round the golf course where we saw these lovely Irises in the water’s edge. There was many of them, set against the yellow of the gorse, just beautiful.
