Can you hear it? The unmistaken call of a Red-Bellied Woodpecker!  How exciting after only getting a glimpse this past winter.  This is not Fred...but it was certainly good to see him.

I spent the entire morning showing a colleague and her two young ones around my favourite spot (social distancing).  We saw deer, a raccoon, loads of squirrels, loads of birds (including this woodpecker), and just had a relaxing time.
