Civic Pride

...or rather the lack of. 

This used to be a charming waiting shelter for what (even) 20 years ago was a fairly frequent local bus service. Mondays to Fridays we now have just an hourly service split between 'bus route 409 and 'bus route 236. On Saturdays we just get the 409 and nothing on a Sunday.

It was provided by what was then Godstone Rural District Council. Now, in the face of 'anti-social' behaviour, our local council (Mid-Sussex) have just bricked it up.
