The sky, the sky

It is one of the most striking differences between city and country life. You get glimpses of it in built up areas, but the city/townscape dominates. Light in the countryside is so different because the skies are so big - well, they are here. There were many things different about moving here - more than 10 years ago - but the sky was the biggest change. It has been so gloomy of late throughout the day, but there have been a few fine sunsets betwixt the onslaughts of rain. The weather is changing again and keeping us on our toes - chilly today, but mainly dry, frost returning tonight.
