Unwinding (Day 1849)
First on the list of things to do this morning was a trip through to Stromness to drain a leaking hot water cylinder and measure it up for replacement. The cylinder is in the worst place possible, in the corner of a kitchen hidden behind the units and under the worktop, and the replacement will have to be specially made.
From Stromness, through to town for a little job, to start the process of getting the new cylinder and to collect some stuff for my beautiful wife.
Back home to do a bit of invoicing then lunch with HV before she zoomed off for a short shift at work. I wandered the woofers at Lyde, then pottered around the house until HV came home and we went through to the horses. Horse hugging is a grand way of unwinding.
