Out of hospital

I woke up early again and waited until 7pm before messaging Penny. She responded with this morning’s temperature reading which was 37 degrees. She couldn't wait for the doctor to come round but it took him forever. He has usually seen her before 9.30am every morning but today he didn’t see her until nearly 12.30. She sent us a message shortly afterwards to say that she can come home today. She was so excited. We went to pick her up at 2pm. When we got home, she slept for hours – she looks so pale and peaky. She wanted a Domino’s pizza for dinner so we had one delivered. Bibi had gone to meet Catrin as it was her birthday.
Jack had his last exam today and it was officially his last day at University. It’s such a shame that he ended up finishing his university life this way with an online exam and no friends to celebrate with.
