Anniversary!!

Today is our 49th wedding anniversary!!!! Cannot believe where the time has gone.

Normally we go out to dinner with R to celebrate as she is at work during the day, but this year she came over to cook lunch. We had a lovely time catching up on loads of things, including old photographs and the garden. She has gone home with a boot full of plants that have been waiting to take up residence in her garden. I’ve now got space on the racking at the side of the house to move plants out of the potting shed.

We were planning on going out for a walk with Amber whilst R was here but it was too hot, so we went out just before dinner instead.

We had a delivery of rhubarb from P, loads of it !!!! A job for tomorrow. Also the postman delivered two boxes of flowers. They are recovering from their slumbers this evening :0)

The weird card was the one that I gave to B today. I made the mistake of not preparing for today back in March. I didn’t want to buy on line and couldn’t find anniversary cards in the Co-op. But when we were at the garden centre last Monday there was a little area with books, toys and weird cards!!!

We will certainly remember this anniversary and look forward to celebrating in style next year :0)
