Don’t know what you’re waiting for

Funny ole day today.

I had two meetings this morning with my Indian staff. It always drops in to screaming. - they also think shouting at me makes it easier to understand. In the end I gave my colleague instruction to pass on to our supplier and she spoke Hindi to her. Much easier.

Later on I noticed I was having trouble seeing the screen. I was having to shut one eye to read what I had written...

I Kept that up for half an hour before I turned and looked at Si and realised I was missing half his face too.....

Then it dawned on me I was midst a migraine aura. It had been so long since I have had one I had forgotten. But my whole brain thing carrying on when something was so obviously wrong was a clear indication.

So I transferred the calls (I was all admin today as well as my job) let the bosses know and took myself to bed.

I was out cold for two hours and felt 100% better when I woke. What a weird thing.

Tooli and I sat outside and played scrabble to celebrate her accepting her place at Oxford.
