Wood Avens
A short walk in Mill Moor wood to avoid the full heat of the day. The Wood Avens were growing alongside the path.
Russell arrived in the afternoon with a baby blue-tit that had come out of their box. We could hear a parent calling so I managed to detach it from my hand onto the bird feeder table where it was joined by a parent. The last we saw of it was when it made a very unstable maiden flight into next doors garden. They are so vulnerable when they just emerge from the nest. I wonder if it will survive?
