A rescue

This azalea was given to me by my Mom many years ago along with 2 others . My mother passed in 1997 so you can figure how long! I planted the three spaced in between juniper bushes along a wall the previous owners had put up. Two died after a few years but this one gamely stuck it out even though the junipers eventually took over and all you could see was a beach of the azalea sticking out. At one point I thought it had died till it flowered. Three years ago the wall needed to be replaced and we had a laid fieldstone wall put up to replace it. I asked the contractor to save the azalea if possible. He did and here it is now. Thanks Mom.
