First hummer of the year

Not the first day she has been here though. My son has spotted her a few times over the last week, and I have seen the male in the trees and in the azalea a few times. The poor girl is having  to take a number at the feeder though. Not only has the downey woodpecker ( she figured this out a few years ago) been visiting for nectar , but the orioles have figured it out to . The male has been there a lot, though I have yet to catch him with  camera in hand.
 Apologies for spotty postings - I seem to be running a day behind, or now 2 , getting things up. Yesterday it was back to work and a weird mix of phone video and live patients. The live patients took longer than usual for the LPN to get in , due to new procedures , showed up late and right on the dot  for their appointments respectively and therefore threw off the "groove" of the day. Which, being the first day back after a vacation week, would have been long anyway. But 11 hours plus is way too much. So I plead late due to being too mentally tired to function.
