Matrushkas
Two Matrushkas (Russian Dolls) bought at the street market at the Alexandrevska church in Kyiv, Ukraine. One is traditional with the Babushka (grandmother), mother, child, grandchild, great-grandchild, the other from 2004 has the heads of the successful Orange revolution (Yushenko, Yulia Timoshenko etc) and the small one is Tak! (Thanks!). There are other political ones, I was trying to find one I had seen before with the Soviet leaders from Lenin to Brezhnev.
Unfortunately the Orange revolution broke up as Yuschenko revealed his true ambition and ineptitude, Timoshenko was the capable one. Now Yushenko is disgraced but free, and Timoshenko is in prison on trumped up charges.
